Little Jenny and her best friend, Emma, loved playing with their stuffed toys. One day, they had an argument about who would get to keep their favorite teddy bear. Jenny got upset and took the teddy bear away from Emma. Emma felt hurt and walked away, leaving Jenny feeling guilty and regretful due to her bad behavior.
That night, Jenny realized her mistake and wanted to make things right. The next morning, she woke early to find her friend and said sorry to her. She approached Emma, who was sitting by herself, with a sincere expression. “Hey, Emma, I’m really sorry for taking the teddy bear from you. I know it was mean. Can we be friends again?”
Emma looked at Jenny, her eyes still filled with sadness. “It hurt me when you took the teddy bear, Jenny. But I accept your apology, we can play together again, and with our lovely toys.” Emma stated, her tone becoming softer.
Little Jenny expressed her apologies by returning the teddy bear to Emma. Jenny smiled and continued, “I want us to make a vow to be together and be good friends forever, just like before. When Jenny apologized, Emma’s face lit up, and she nodded in acceptance.
Their bond became stronger as they gave each other hugs. They started spending time together and sharing stuffed animals after that, understanding the value of being kind and forgiving to each other and “that it’s never too late to say sorry.”
