Get someone’s goat: có nghĩa là làm phiền, chọc tức hoặc khiêu khích ai đó. Nguồn gốc của thành ngữ này không hoàn toàn rõ ràng, nhưng nó được cho là bắt nguồn từ thế giới đua ngựa. Người ta tin rằng dê (goat) có thể làm bạn đồng hành để trấn an ngựa đua, và nếu ai đó muốn kích động con ngựa, họ sẽ bắt con dê đi, khiến nó trở nên bồn chồn trước cuộc đua.
